The aims of the call are:

  • To support translational research projects that combine innovative approaches (basic, clinical, industrial) in the field of nanomedicine and;
  • To encourage and enable transnational collaboration between public and private research groups from academia (research teams from universities, higher education institutions, public research institutions) and clinical/public health research (research teams from hospital/ public health, healthcare settings and other healthcare organisations) or research teams from industrial enterprises (all size).

The project proposals must cover at least one of the following areas
that are equal in relevance for this call:

a) Regenerative medicine
b) Diagnostics
c) Targeted delivery systems

Proposals must clearly demonstrate the potential health impact and economic impact as well as the added-value of transnational collaboration: sharing of resources (models, registries, diagnosis, etc.), harmonization of data, sharing of specific know-how and/or innovative technologies.

The consortium includes research group(s) from at least two out
of the following three categories:

  •  academia;
  •  clinical/public health research sector;
  •  enterprise (all sizes of private companies)

Cet AAP associe treize pays : l'Espagne, la France, la Grèce, l’Israël, l’Italie, la Lettonie, la Lituanie, la Norvège, le Portugal, la Roumanie, la Slovaquie et la Belgique.  Le financement sera attribué pour une durée de trois ans maximum. L'ANR financera exclusivement les partenaires français des projets sélectionnés  à  hauteur de 1.500.000 euros.
